Letters Home from Stanford: Voices of Stanford Women

Book Talk and reception: At this Stanford Professional Women event, author and editor Alison Carpenter Davis will focus exclusively on women's correspondence in her recently published book "Letters Home from Stanford," a collection of letters, emails, and texts Stanford students have sent home over 125 years. She'll look at the correspondence of 6 or 7 female students in the book, which—taken as a whole—provides a narrative of the progress women have made on campus and thus in society over time. There will be time for eating and networking before and after event, and books available for purchase and signing.
