LSE Workshop: Business Law Basics – Legal Tips for Your Small Business From deciding how to structure your business, to hiring your first employee or selecting a business name, this workshop will teach you the basics to start, grow, and protect your company. Topics include a general overview of business entities, employment law and contracts, commercial leases, and intellectual property basics (copyrights, trademarks, patents). After the presentation participants will have an opportunity to consult one-on-one with attorneys regarding their questions about entity formation, contract review, and other topics as announced. Appointments will be 60 minutes each. First come, first serve. RSVP is required to attend the event and speak with an attorney.
